Job Description: We are seeking motivated and skilled Content Editors to join our dynamic team.

As a Content Editor at MyFavReads, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that only quality content reaches our audience. 

You will evaluate novels, provide constructive feedback to authors, and advise them on our platform’s policies to increase their chances of successfully attracting and retaining readers.

Our ideal candidate is an avid reader with passion for compelling stories and a keen understanding of what makes them exceptional. You should be able to articulate your thoughts clearly and effectively in written English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate contract applications with the goal to recommend yes or no for contracting. 
• Create feedback documents for novels where you will point out errors and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Advise authors on MyFavReads’s policies and best practices.
• Recommend yes or no for onboarding new authors to the MFR by evaluating the quality of their existing work.
• Summarize the plotline of novels MFR is hosting for the purpose of writing editorial reviews and blog posts.
• Stay updated on trends in the novel publishing industry, especially in the romance genre.
• Collaborate with authors to ensure their novels meet the quality MFR readers are expecting.

Requirements:

• Mastery of written English.
• Stellar written communication skills.
• An open mind and willingness to learn.
• Self-discipline to manage your work hours and deliverables.
• Understanding of what makes a novel trending.
• Familiarity with the publishing process for online novels.

You will spend most of your work hours reading novels and writing feedback, so we expect you to have: 

• an iOS or Android device where you will install the MyFavReads app, 
• a PC or laptop, 
• Access to stable internet connection, and 
• A place where you can focus and not be disturbed for the duration of your work hours.
